President Donald Trump weighed in on Twitter ahead of yet another day of public impeachment hearings before the House Intelligence Committee. Today, Fiona Hill, former National Security Council senior director for Europe and Russia, and David Holmes, counselor for political affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, will testify before the committee chaired by Rep. Adam Schiff, D-CA.

“Corrupt politician Adam Schiff’s lies are growing by the day. Keep fighting tough, Republicans, you are dealing with human scum who have taken Due Process and all the Republican Party’s rights away from us during the most unfair hearings in American history. But we are winning big, and they will soon be on our turf,” Trump wrote.

During Wednesday’s hearing, Trump appeared before reporters to read a portion of the U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland’s testimony, in which Sondland recalled an earlier conversation with the President. During that conversation, Trump said he wanted “nothing” from Ukraine.

“I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid-pro-quo. Tell Zelensky to do the right thing,” Trump told Sondland according to testimony.

Trump said it completely vindicated him. “It’s all over,” Trump added.
