White House coronavirus response coordinator Jeff Zients made some pointed comments towards unvaccinated Americans. His comments were made just before the weekend, but did not evade the public’s scorn.
“Good morning. And thanks for joining us” began Zients on Friday’s ‘Press Briefing by white House COVID-19 Response Team and Public Health Officials’ via teleconference at 11:06 am Eastern.
“Today, Dr. Walensky will give an overview of the state of the pandemic and on new practices that will help keep schools open, and Dr. Fauci will provide an update on the latest science and the importance of boosters” he continued.
Ironically, the “response” team is doing nothing to help keep schools open, nor to present legitimate fact based science to back up “the importance of boosters.” Rather, Zients, Walensky and Fauci are continuing to utilize scare tactics and resort to bullying.
The following comments made by Zients resulted in outrage by Americans who do not appreciate scare tactics made by government officials. “But before we start, I want to talk about how we should think about this moment” Zients continued.
“As we’ve explained in prior briefings, the Omicron variant is more transmissible and our medical experts anticipate it will lead to a rise in cases” , said Zients. “But unlike last winter, we now have the power to protect ourselves.”
Zients then uses divisive and threatening rhetoric. “We are intent on not letting Omicron disrupt work and school for the vaccinated. You’ve done the right thing, and we will get through this.”
“For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm” Zients says with hostility. “So, our message to every American is clear: There is action you can take to protect yourself and your family. Wear a mask in public indoor settings. Get vaccinated, get your kids vaccinated, and get a booster shot when you’re eligible.”
He concludes, “so, I’ll say it once more: Get vaccinated.” After Zients turns the briefing over to Dr. Rochelle Walensky, Director of the Centers for Disease Control, she almost immediately says “we’ve seen cases of Omicron among those who are both vaccinated and boosted, and we believe these cases are milder or asymptomatic because of vaccine protection.”

TX Judge Blocks Biden’s Federal Employee COVID-19 Vax Mandate
A ruling came down from a Texas federal judge Friday saying President Joe Biden cannot mandate federal employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. It also blocked the government from disciplining any employees for failing to comply.
U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Brown said the merit in question is whether Biden could “require millions of federal employees to undergo a medical procedure as a condition of their employment. That, under the current state of law as just recently expressed by the Supreme Court, is a bridge too far” he ruled.
Biden had issued an executive order requiring roughly 3.5 million workers to get vaccinated by November 22nd, unless religious or medical exemption was granted or face disciplinary action. In many cases, the consequence was to get fired.
Judge Brown, based in Galveston, was appointed by former President Donald Trump. He suggested less invasive measures could be implemented to protect the public such as masking and social distancing.
The Supreme Court temporarily blocked President Biden’s mandated vaccine-or-test policy, which began a landslide of large businesses disregarding any vaccination requirements. Starbucks was among the largest, well-known employer to do so.
Brown is not the only case to be in-line with the Supreme Court’s decision. In December, a mandate for employees of federal contractors to be vaccinated was blocked by a federal judge.
