White House Confirms It Is Looking Into Shutting Down Oil Pipeline Amid Fuel Crisis
The Biden administration confirmed that it is considering shutting down an oil pipeline in Michigan despite the ongoing fuel crisis in the country.
“Revoking the permits for the [Line 5] pipeline that delivers oil from western Canada across Wisconsin, the Great Lakes and Michigan and into Ontario, would please environmentalists who have urged the White House to block fossil fuel infrastructure, but it would aggravate a rift with Canada and could exacerbate a spike in energy prices that Republicans are already using as a political weapon,” Politico Pro reported. “Killing a pipeline while U.S. gasoline prices are the highest in years could be political poison for Biden, who has seen his approval rating crash in recent months.”
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked about the report during Monday’s press briefing, asking, “why is the administration now considering shutting down the Line 5 pipeline from Canada to Michigan?”
“So, Peter, that is inaccurate,” Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed. “That is not right. So, any reporting indicating that some decision has been made, again, is not accurate. … So, again, I would — it is inaccurate what you just stated, but —”
“What’s inaccurate?” Doocy asked.
“The reporting about us wanting to shut down the Line 5,” Jean-Pierre said.
“I didn’t say ‘wanting.’ I said, is it being studied right now? Is the administration studying the impact of shutting down the Line 5?”
“Yeah. Yes, we are. We are,” Jean-Pierre admitted.

The news comes as gas prices have reached their highest since 2014, when Biden was vice president, and are currently about 50% higher than they were when Biden entered office.
In a significant legal blow to President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, a California indictment reveals a litany of tax charges, compounding his legal troubles after his earlier plea of not guilty to federal gun charges. Former Whitewater deputy counsel Sol Wisenberg emphasized on “FOX & Friends” the devastating nature of the indictment, considering it a vindication of IRS whistleblowers.
Furthermore, Wisenberg contends that the indictment could have surfaced much earlier, pointing to the IRS whistleblowers’ struggle to keep the investigation ongoing. The legal battle, which involved Judge Maryellen Noreika in a Delaware courtroom, prevented what Wisenberg calls a “hinky plea deal” from proceeding. According to reports from Fox News, the former counsel believes that the defense attorneys for Hunter Biden may have overreached in their plea deal negotiations, leading to the current legal turmoil.
The California indictment specifically accuses Hunter Biden of failing to pay nearly $200,000 in income tax for the year 2019. This follows his October plea of not guilty to federal gun charges in the District of Delaware, a case originating from a lengthy investigation.
As the legal noose tightens around Hunter Biden, the latest tax charges come at a critical time. House Republican leaders are gearing up for a vote next week on a measure that could formally initiate an impeachment inquiry into President Biden. The proposed inquiry revolves around potential connections between the president and his son’s business dealings, further intensifying the political and legal challenges faced by the Biden family.
The unfolding legal drama poses a serious threat to Hunter Biden’s reputation and, consequently, could impact the Biden administration’s stability as it faces increasing scrutiny from political adversaries.

Well, why not? Biden and his ‘illegal alien’ boss have tried everything else in their power to start a war on American soil..
Someday, they may get what they’ve been wishing for but I seriously doubt it’s going to turn out like what they thought. They’d better hope that all of the people protecting their crazy arc’s better not have a change of heart and want to stay alive to go home to their own families.. That could cause a huge problem for these little cowards who have never held a firearm..

Years ago, on the Tom Snyder show, the head of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Union bragged Bureaucrats run the Government. He explained administrations changed every 2 to 4 years BUT Bureaucrats were ALWAYS there, year after year after year. He explained they all flew up like Pigeons every couple of years and usually landed in the same spot they were in or a spot or two down if their spot was filled. But, they’re always there, year after year after year. “We Bureaucrats run the government”, he bragged.
