The U.S. Attorney’s Office, alongside law enforcement agencies in Tennessee, has unveiled an indictment against several individuals with connections to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA). Acting U.S. Attorney Robert McGuire, along with officials from the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), and other federal agencies, shared the results of a joint investigation spanning Nashville and Texas.

The investigation centers on an alleged sex trafficking ring operated by those charged, targeting women from Venezuela. These women were reportedly lured to the U.S. with promises of a better life, only to be coerced into sex acts under threats, as part of a broader human trafficking operation linked to TdA.
Officials are set to announce the unsealing of a multi-count indictment on Tuesday, which involves numerous defendants and addresses charges related to human trafficking and commercial sex exploitation.
