TX Gov Abbott will ‘charter buses,’ send migrants to Capitol for Biden to address their needs
Texas Governor Greg Abbott is telling the Biden Administration it needs to buck up to the reality of all of the migrants it is allowing across our Southern border. On Wednesday Abbott said in a press conference:
“To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off by the Biden administration to Washington D.C.”
Abbott’s decision is a direct response to the Biden administration’s announcement last month to end a pandemic-era emergency health order known as Title 42. The measure was implemented during the Trump administration and allowed immigration authorities to turn away migrants at the border, even those seeking asylum.
Federal officials and lawmakers are concerned that the already problematic influx of migrants will get even worse without Title 42 in place.
It’s not just the amount of people that is problematic, it’s about their needs as well: “We are sending them to the United States Capitol where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border” Abbott continued.
The Texas Tribune reports “Texas Division of Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd, who will oversee the busing program, said the state will have over 900 buses for this operation and Abbott said the first drop-off would be at the U.S. Capitol.”
Then there’s the added risk of safety:
Abbott also said the Department of Public Safety will immediately begin enhanced safety inspections of commercial vehicles coming through the Mexico border into Texas because human smugglers are known to use commercial trucks to transport people into the country.
Wait, there’s more. Abbott also mentioned Biden’s plans will halt trade; a particularly bad time as we face inflation, supply chain issues and high gas prices:
Abbott acknowledged that the move will “dramatically slow” traffic at the Texas border. Mexico is one of state’s largest trading partner and does hundreds of billions of dollars in trade with Texas every year.
Abbott also said the state will create boat blockades on the Rio Grande to deter migrants and install concertina wire, a type of barbed or razor wire, in low-river crossings on the river that are high-traffic areas.

Trump, Rep Biggs: invoking the Alien Enemies Act to enable widespread deportation will ‘be necessary’

At a recent rally in Iowa, former President Donald Trump promised that if elected again in 2024, he would invoke the Alien Enemies Act to enable widespread deportation of migrants who have illegally entered the United States. Since President Joe Biden took office in January of 2021, over 6 million people have illegally entered the country.
Republican Representative Andy Biggs from border state Arizona, which is among the states suffering the greatest consequences from the Biden administration policies, lamented that Trump’s suggestion will be “necessary.”
Speaking on the “Just the News, No Noise” television show, Biggs stated “[I]t’s actually gonna have to be necessary.” Biggs then added his thoughts on how many more people will continue to cross the border under Biden: “Because by the time Trump gets back in office, you will have had over 10 million, in my opinion, over 10 million illegal aliens cross our border and come into the country, under the Biden regime.”
“And so when you start deporting people, and removing them from this country, what that does is that disincentivizes the tens of thousands of people who are coming,” Biggs went on. “And by the way, everyday down in Darién Gap, which is in Panama… over 5,000 people a day. [I] talk[ed] to one of my sources from the gap today. And I will just tell you, those people that you’ve seen come come in to Eagle Pass, over 7,000 in a three day period, most of those two weeks ago, were down crossing into the Darién Gap.”
“And those people… make their way up and they end up in the Eagle Pass [Texas], Del Rio area,” he continued. “So if you want to disincentivize them, you remove them from the country, which is why they remain in Mexico policy was so doggone effective at slowing down illegal border crossings.”

Thank God for Governor Abbott and Governor Desantis! Bus them all to DC and drop them at Capitol steps and White House gates. Also Delaware and San Francisco should be on the drop off list and Schumer’s district too!

That is a great idea here! Then, ship them to Delaware to Biden’s basement where ie can BBQ with them, since he is so concerned about these ILLEGALS!

In 2021 we did a road trip across part of the US, including Texas. We talked with locals who shared their concerns with the open door border policy.
They were being overwhelmed by illegals coming across the border.
They had compassion for the illegals who had unreal expectations and also concerns with the lack of support of border patrol men and women by our own Government.
Perhaps relocating these illegals to DC, and places like Delaware, will let our leaders experience the reality of letting masses of unvetted foreigners into our Nation. A Nation without Borders is NOT a Nation.

GOOD.
Send them to Biden’s backyard and let HIM deal with it. There’s a number of other cities which should receive as well, notably:
NYC
Los Angeles
Chicago
Seattle
Portland

Thank you, Governor Abbot, for taking proper action. I wish someone would had the courage to do this earlier. Just like if Joe wants to take our guns away; first let his guards guns be taken away. Where would he stand then?
