Truth Over Talking Points: Let’s Learn the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Our History
Just 18 months after moving to Texas, Sara says she’s never felt more at home. Why? She loves the grittiness, the freedom, the instant feeling of community with her neighbors, and the love for our military and veterans. But there’s something more, something that makes Texas a direct connection to our nation’s founding ideals.
But American history and Texas history are under assault from people trying to rewrite what happened decades or centuries ago, erase honorable figures from our history book, and judge the actions of people long ago by today’s political sensibilities. Sara pushes back on that activism and is joined by Texas Rangers 2023 Chairman Russell Molina to discuss his efforts to honor the bicentennial of the Texas Rangers, defend their legacy, and encourage everyone to learn the good, the bad, and the ugly of any part of our history.

Sara’s Urgent Message: We Have A Country to Save & We Can’t Save It Without Your Help

At the end of every episode, Sara reminds us that each of us needs to stand up, speak out, and find others who will join us in the urgent work of protecting our most cherished freedoms, our precious children, and our very way of life. But what exactly does she mean by standing up and speaking out? What does that look like?
She’s thought about it a lot. And in the past week, she’s given speeches to very prominent groups in Texas and in Washington, D.C. The message is simple but urgent. Everyone must step up to save this nation, and, yes, that means you!
Sara shares how our veterans and Gold Star families have given so much to preserve this nation and how she watched members of our Armed Forces giving their last ounce of devotion to their brothers in uniform and the nation they love. We should never sit back and assume our military, some politicians, and prominent activists will fight all of our battles for us. Each of us has a voice and the freedom to speak out about what we believe and why it’s important. And we need every single like-minded voice to be part of this fight – not just in the weeks leading up to Election Day but every day of the year.
Our freedoms are under assault every day by people and groups who want to uproot the foundations of our great nation. They are not going to stop unless the silent majority becomes the unsilent majority and every single one of us speaks up for what we know is right.
