Trump Vows To Keep Country Open If There’s A Second Wave Of COVID-19
President Donald Trump vowed Thursday to keep the country open in the event there’s a second wave of the novel coronavirus. Trump also told the host of “The Buck Sexton Show” and former CIA analyst Buck Sexton that he would do so in an exclusive interview at the White House on Wednesday.
“People say that’s a very distinct possibility. It’s standard. And we’re going to put out the fires. We’re not going to close the country. We’re going to put out the fires,” Trump told reporters while visiting Ford manufacturing plant in Michigan that’s producing lifesaving materials amid the pandemic.
“Whether it’s an ember or a flame, we’re going to put it out. But we’re not closing our country,” Trump added.
