n a heartwarming moment during his joint address to Congress, President Trump made a dream come true for thirteen-year-old DJ Daniels who was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018. According to the New York Post, Trump praised Daniels, who was seated in the gallery during the president’s address, announcing that he would become an honorary Secret Service agent.

“He has always dreamed of becoming a police officer,” Trump explained, adding that “The doctors gave him five months at most to live.”

“That was more than six years ago,” Trump continued. “Since that time, DJ and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true.”

The House chamber erupted with chants of “D-J” as he was held up dressed in a policeman’s uniform during the proud moment.

Secret Service Director Sean Curran presented DJ with his badge as the new honorary agent held it up for all to see. DJ then embraced Curran, wrapping his arms around him a heartwarming hug
