The View’s Meghan McCain and Abby Huntsman took swipes at Democrat rockstar and 2020 hopeful Beto O’Rourke on Monday. Huntsman compared O’Rourke to a ‘White bro’. McCain reacted to O’Rourke’s campaign announcement, which he said he was born to run for president calling it a representation of ‘White male privilege’.

Whoopi Goldberg chimed in saying, “I want somebody that knows what they’re doing.”

The panel seemed to agree that supporters are attracted to O’Rourke’s likability and not his policies. “I like him but not enough to name a dog after him yet,” said Joy Behar.

O’Rourke raised $6.1 million in the first day of his campaign. Thus, surpassing the 2020 competition.

“In just 24 hours, Americans across this country came together to prove that it is possible to run a true grassroots campaign for president — a campaign by all of us for all of us that answers not to the PACs, corporations and special interests but to the people,” O’Rourke said in a statement.
