Spying is getting to be the most talked about subject this week in Washington D.C.
On Fox New’s Ingraham Angle Friday night spying was the hot topic after Attorney General William Barr said last week that he believed President Trump’s campaign was spied on. Sara Carter, Laura Ingraham and Sol Weisenberg, a former deputy independent counsel, discussed how Democratic officials are going into a frenzy over Barr’s claim.
Last week, Barr told Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen at a Senate Appropriations Subcommittee hearing that he is looking into whether or not the spying was done legally. He announced that the DOJ has a team looking into the actions surrounding the genesis of the counter investigation into the Trump campaign and its alleged ties to Russia.
“I think spying on a political campaign is a big deal. It’s a big deal,” Barr told Shaheen Wednesday.
Moreover, Carter said it’s Barr’s duty to investigate. Congress and DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz uncovered insurmountable evidence that warrants an investigation, she said.
