Senate Homeland Security Committee Votes To Subpoena Burisma-Linked Firm
The Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee voted Wednesday to subpoena its first witness in the investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden and his position with the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings.
The company being probed, Blue Star Strategies, is associated with Burisma and is expected to answer key questions about how and why Hunter Biden sat on the board of the Ukrainian company while his father was heading diplomatic talks with Ukraine under his role with the Obama administration.
Moreover, the request would bring information forward that dates back to January 1, 2013, Fox News is reporting.
