Sen. Graham Says ‘We Should All Be Concerned’ About Steele’s Political Takedown

FBI informant and former British Spy Chrisopher Steele was politically motivated to take out then-candidate Trump, which he admitted to Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec, according to Kavalec’s memo obtained by Citizen’s United. What’s even more revealing was Steele’s timing. According to the Hill’s John Solomon, Steele divulged this information just 10 days before his research was used to obtain a FISA warrant.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham told Sean Hannity Wednesday that ‘we should all be concerned’ if our government is able to spy on its own citizens based on unverified information.

“Somebody needs to go to the FISA court and tell them that the FBI had plenty of notice that this guy was on the payroll of the Democratic party and he was out to get Trump,” said Graham.

Sources told Solomon, there are additional “handwritten notes from the meeting, with information about Steele’s political ties, that have not been given to Congress.”
