Sen. Barrasso: Democrats Are Rooting Against Our Economy, Don’t Want States To Reopen
“We are however seeing some states and some communities drag their feet and be slow to open their economy and their state,” said Sen. John Barrasso, a Wyoming Republican, told reporters Wednesday. “And why? Part of it is because Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have promised them big checks if it happens and they take the majority in the Senate and in [take] the White House. As if there is a prize for having a bad economy. And the prize is the election victory for the democrats.”
“That may be who the democrats are, rooting against our economy. Republicans are committed to opening our country, opening our economy and getting Americans back to work,” Sen. Barrasso added.
