Sara Carter speaks to North Carolina residents about the federal response to the hurricane

Sara Carter has been to North Carolina multiple times since Hurricane Helene struck tragedy. When President Joe Biden was asked about the storm zone on the lawn of the White House, he first responded by saying he didn’t know what storm zone the reporter was referring to. Then Biden added insult to injury by stating “they’re getting everything they need” and “are very happy.”

In a town hall style interview on ‘Hannity’, Carter spoke directly with integral members of the community including the mayor and coroner. Carter told host Sean Hannity “we had an opportunity today to fly over completely devastated areas. There is not a word to describe what I witnessed, nothing short of tragic.” Carter noted the repercussion “was so devastating there was an actual geological shift” in the river.

Mayor Roberts said of experiencing the hurricane, it “turned ugly quick.” When Carter asked the individuals about the response from FEMA and the government, they simply responded, “what is FEMA?” highlighting the complete absence of the government agency.

His daughter was denied any assistance aside from $300. The Coroner said authorities don’t have a hard number on the amount of people who are still missing. Cadaver dogs, outpouring support of individual agencies, “citizens helping citizens and neighbors helping neighbors is how we’ve gotten by.”

When Hannity asks them “what is their message to Biden and Kamala Harris?” They responded: “Where are you? Where are you?” These people have lost everything.
