Fox News contributor Sara Carter joined a special edition of Hannity with Jason Chaffetz to discuss the left’s resistance to President-elect Donald Trump’s mass deportation plans. The ACLU even boasted a plan to help illegals evade deportation.
Resistance to the deportation of criminal illegal migrants is not just unbelievable and concerning, but criminal as well, Carter argued. Preventing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from doing their job and evading the law for the sake of a radical leftist agenda is wrong.
To those saying they will refuse to cooperate with the Trump administration to deport criminal illegal migrants, Carter said, “tell that to the families of Laken Riley, of Jocelyn, Nungaray, of Lizabeth Medina, of all the people that have faced this with such heartache and pain, who have lost their children or people who have just been…caught in the middle of a crime syndicate like Tren de Aragua.”
Tom Homan and President-elect Trump will hold these states accountable for refusing to follow the law and for trying to help criminal illegal migrants evade deportation.
“They are not going to allow that to happen. They are going to hold them accountable, and they’re going to pull funding from these states,” Carter said. “They are not going to allow the ACLU to break the law in the United States of America.”
Fox News contributor Joey Jones, who also joined this special edition of Hannity, argued that criminal illegal migrants have not cared about getting arrested while the Biden administration has been in office because the criminals are let go and find a new identity to hide behind.
“When we start ordering deportations, when they started bringing people in and documenting their identity and saying, come back and see a judge and what is it, 2 to 7 years? Well, they just go into the country and if they ever get caught up to, they just completely change their identity,” Jones said.
The national security implications of people selling identification on the streets puts Americans at grave risk, Carter added.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration selling off parts of the border wall is a severe abuse of power and possibly illegal, Jones argued.
“What makes that possibly illegal is that the way this was funded…it was not allowed to be used for anything but the border wall,” Jones said. “And so that’s where…the Trump camp, I guess, at this point about to be administration, is looking at how maybe there’s some repercussions for this.”
