Sara Carter spoke directly to voters on the streets of New Braunfels, Texas, to gauge their perception of Kamala Harris’ border policies. The consensus is fear that those who are coming across the border will produce another large-scale terror attack such as September 11, 2001.
One voter expressed frustration that migrants coming across the border haven’t been properly vetted and once they’ve entered the United States it’s much more difficult to get them deported. “It’s just a never ending cycle with this administration” he stated.
One man wearing a t-shirt honoring the tragic events and victims of Benghazi, said he thinks that “with the amount of people that have come across on the terrorist list, we are just waiting for another 9/11 to occur.”
A couple spoke out against an open-border, questioning “who would” be in favor of such policy.
Carter also asked individuals about Kamala Harris’ support of legislation to use taxpayer dollars to pay for transgender surgery for detained illegal migrants. “It’s ridiculous” the man who spoke of another 9/11 said. “We’re not even take care of the people that are here, like our own vets, people that are veterans and every day civilians that live here in our own country.”
A Cattle rancher lamented Harris’ action is “kind of a betrayal of the American people” and especially as cattle ranchers, “we work our fingers to the bone day in and day out, so it’s kind of like a backstab.”
