Over the weekend, the Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign cancelled Sanders’ speech at a Flint, Michigan event on racial and economic justice, Bloomberg reported.

According to the report, the campaign’s spokesman Mike Caska said the purpose of the speech was to “directly address the African-American community.”

Further, Caska said, the reason for pulling Sanders from the event was that as a “White Jewish man”, Sanders “does not have those experiences”, and, therefore, can’t speak on the subject.
