San Fransisco is deteriorating due to Democrats leftist policies and big tech giants pushing out the middle-class. Fox News’ Steve Hilton called it a “civic catastrophe.” Hilton sat down with Sara Carter and Charlie Kirk on Sunday’s “Next Revolution” to discuss the descent of the Northern California city. Hilton pointed to an elite leftist ruling class that he says is running the show.

“It’s entirely the responsibility of the Democrats and the self righteous big-tech overlords, who slavishly back them,” said Hilton.

Carter explained that when people visit San Francisco “they see feces, they see homelessness, they see people with mental illness…” but what they don’t see, she explained, “is a middle class America or low income America.”

According to a recent press release by the mayor’s office, the city saw a 17 percent increase in the local homeless population since 2017. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development conducts a homeless study every two years. In 2017, the number was 6,858. Now, in 2019, the number is 8,011.
