RNC Chair Responds After Donna Brazile Told Her ‘Go To Hell’

Former Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile told Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to “Go to hell” Tuesday, during an interview with Fox News’ America’s Newsroom. Her message to Republicans was clear: “Stay the hell out of our race!”

Following Brazile’s scathing remarks, McDaniel responded on Twitter saying, “It’s ok, Donna Brazile.”

“It’s ok, Donna Brazile. I’d be having a bad day too if my party was still hopelessly divided. Talk of a brokered convention and the DNC trying to stop Bernie obviously hit a little close to home,” McDaniel wrote.

The RNC chairwoman appeared on America’s Newsroom earlier Tuesday to share her predictions for the Super Tuesday primary race after several candidates dropped out of the race in the course of just a few days. That group included former South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Billionaire Tom Steyer, and Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar.

Since pulling out of the race, Buttigieg and Klobuchar have both endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden who is now battling Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination. Some suggest that the DNC had a hand in the abrupt move, McDaniel agrees.

“Well I wouldn’t doubt that there was a deal made for some cabinet position or some type of office.” she said, “I mean, you saw Vice President Biden say to Beto ‘you’re gonna run my gun policy,’ which Beto recommended going house by house and using force to take away people’s arms, so that’s a pretty extreme position.”
