Homelessness is out of control in Gavin Newsom’s state of California; but that is nothing new. What is new is that the liberal Governor actually issued an executive order to begin clearing homeless camps. Sean Hannity begs the question, “Is this because the November elections are around the corner?”
Sara Carter got responses directly from the residents of San Francisco. “I feel like it’s appropriate” one woman stated. “I’m conflicted” said another. “I know Supreme Court allows him to do this, there are areas that really do need to be cleaned up but where do they go?” the woman continued.
“Is it more of a political issue?” Carter questioned. “Oh, 100%. It’s incentives. they are incentivized to act only when it’s an election year” a local lamented.
Carter then asks “should this have occurred before 2024 and elections?” One man says it’s the Supreme Court that needs to be thanked, not Newsom.
Carter told Hannity the jurisdictions are giving people only two days to get out. “People are worried where will they go how much will it cost?” notes Carter. Additionally, it will take much more than a few months for the camps to get cleared and cleaned up; it will likely be more like years. That is, if it happens at all; doubtful residents will “have to see it to believe it” says Carter.
