House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) said that Robert Mueller will not be testifying next week. Nadler told reporters that the committee is in negotiations with Mueller.
Mueller later went on to day that the committee will issue a subpoena ‘if it’s necessary.’
On Wednesday, the committee voted to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt of congress after he denied the committee’s request to release the full Mueller report. Before the vote, Nadler said, “We are now in a constitutional crisis.” Later, Nadler told reporters that it’s time to ‘resist.’

However, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) accused Democrats of destroying Attorney General William Barr’s reputation.
“Bill Barr is following the law, and what’s his reward? Democrats are going to hold him in contempt,” he said during Wednesday’s hearing.
Yes, that is exactly what makes this a "constitutional crisis" — never before have we had a President stonewall the American people across the board and refuse every effort at holding the Administration accountable. https://t.co/NRTwKEvxOS
