Rashida Tlaib, in an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, called for Congress to go forward with impeachment proceedings.
“From the beginning, the Mueller report is an impeachment referral to Congress,” Rep. Tlaib said. “It’s clear he is asking the United States’ Congress to take up their responsibility to hold impeach inquiry.”
“I think it’s clear that many Americans that I spoke to don’t want a lawless, king-like president to continue to not be held accountable to the Constitution.”
Enough w/ this "me, me" president folks. We can't keep separating the fact that his actions and inactions are hurting our work in lowering prescription drugs, addressing the crisis at the border, etc b/c when the Pres doesn't uphold the Constitution, it hurts the American people. https://t.co/I7qoKmuTnP
