Prince Andrew Taking A ‘Step Back’ From Royal Duties Citing His ‘Ill Judged Association With Epstein’
Prince Andrew is taking a step back from his royal duties citing his “ill-judged” close relationship with Jeffrey accused-pedophile Epstein, according to a statement he made Wednesday.
“It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in the many organizations and charities that I am proud to support,” the Prince wrote in his statement.

In a recent interview with the BBC, Andrew denied any allegation that he himself engaged in pedophilia. Moreover,
Epstein died in prison on August 10. The New York City chief medical examiner’s office deemed the cause of death a suicide. Questions still loom about how it happened, however.
Video cameras went black during the incident and prison guards assigned to keep watch left their posts. Those guards were indicted on Tuesday.
