POLL: Majority of Republicans Want To See Comey Prosecuted
As more light continues to be shed on the Russia hoax setup of President Donald Trump and his associates, the majority of Republicans say they want to see former FBI Director James Comey prosecuted, according to a new poll released Thursday by Rasmussen reports.
“Most Republicans still believe senior federal law enforcement officials acted illegally to try to stop Donald Trump’s election and think former FBI Director James Comey should be criminally prosecuted,” Rasmussen wrote of the poll.
The poll found that 63 percent of Republican voters desire to see Comey prosecuted and say his actions, and the actions of others in his agency, which they believe were to stop President Trump from being elected, likely broke the law.
