PM Boris Johnson Tests Positive for Coronavirus After Developing Mild Symptoms
The United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson has developed mild symptoms of the coronavirus and reported testing positive for the virus on Friday. He shared the news in the following video posted to Twitter:
Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.
I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.

There are currently 11,772 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the U.K., according to Johns Hopkins. The country has also reported 580 deaths from the virus.
