Has your family been impacted by a fentanyl overdose death? Sara’s has, and she shares what it was like to lose one of her son’s best friends with no warning. And it’s happening to thousands of families around the country every year. In fact, the most recent number of overdose deaths in just one year was well above the numbers of American deaths in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan combined. Many of the overdose deaths are not drug addicts. They think they are taking one pill to sleep or stay awake or lessen anxiety, and that pill ends up being laced with poisons.

We have to highlight the destruction perpetrated by the Mexican drug cartels and permitted by poor border policy. And we have to tell the stories of these precious souls. Today, Sara welcomes Sandra Bagwell, who lost her beloved son, Ryan, to fentanyl poisoning. They also discuss the work that Sandra is now doing to educate families about how just one pill really can kill the people they love the most.
