North Korea Fires What Appears To Be Two Short-Range Ballistic Missiles Off Its East Coast

April 26, 2019 – Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai – North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during the ceremony of laying flowers and wreaths at the memorial of eternal fire in Vladivostok.

North Korea fired projectiles into the sea off its eastern coast Sunday, according to South Korea’s military.

Moreover, it appeared to be two short-range ballistic missiles into the ocean off its east coast, adding to a string of launches this month.

“Two ‘short-range projectiles’ were launched from the coastal Wonsan area, and flew 230 kilometers (143 miles) at a maximum altitude of 30 kilometers (19 miles), South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff reported,” as reported.

Further, according to Japan’s Ministry of Defense the missiles appear to be ballistic missiles.
