New Yorkers Paint ‘F— Cuomo and de Blasio’ On Brooklyn Street

New Yorkers angry with their state and local leadership painted “F—- Cuomo and de Blasio” on a Brooklyn street over the weekend to show their disdain for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

The group that painted the words were part of an annual block party that also designated themselves as a “small business owner protest.”

“A few partygoers got the idea to paint in huge [letters, using] yellow paint with rollers on North 15th, ‘F–k Cuomo and de Blasio,‘” an attendee told The New York Post. “The party continued. Everyone took photos.

“It was a big hit. The crowds cheered, even the cops chuckled.”

The statement was short-lived and erased from the street by the City, according to The Post.

In June, Mayor de Blasio took part in the painting of the words “Black Live Matter” outside of Trump Tower. However, the City’s Mayor later admitted that the proper permits weren’t obtained to allow the mural to be painted on the street.
