Mike Pence: Be Prepared To Be Discriminated Against Because of Your Religious Beliefs
Vice President Mike Pence delivered a terse warning to Christians: be prepared to be discriminated against because of your religious beliefs.
“The truth is, we live in a time when the freedom of religion is under assault,” the vice president said during the 2019 commencement address at Liberty University. “Throughout most of American history, it’s been pretty easy to call yourself Christian,” Pence said. “It didn’t even occur to people that you might be shunned or ridiculed for defending the teachings of the Bible.”
Todd Starnes, the host of Starnes Country on Fox Nation, addresses those attacks in his upcoming book, “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation.”
Starnes credited President Trump with saving the nation and restoring American values. But he echoed Pence’s warning that dark clouds are on the horizon and patriots must stand up.
This is why Fox News host Todd Starnes wrote “Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left From Killing a Nation.”
Over the past decade Starnes has documented a disturbing trend in our nation that points in the direction of socialism and secularism.
“The Bill of Rights is under assault. Our church houses are under attack. And our public schools have been turned into indoctrination centers for the Left,” Starnes said.
“It’s imperative that freedom-loving patriots rise up together and fight back against the rise of socialism and secularism,” he said. “If good people do nothing, evil will prevail.”
