Mexican President says No on congratulations to Biden ‘until all legal matters’ are resolved
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador announced Saturday that he will wait until the Presidential election controversy is resolved in the courts and the final votes are tallied before congratulating a winner.
He spoke openly about his decision to reporters saying the all legal challenges must be resolved by the courts.
“With regard to the U.S. election, we are going to wait until all the legal matters have been resolved,” said Lopez Obrador at a press conference hours after Fox News, along with other major media outlets decided to declare Joe Biden President-Elect.
