The left-wing Antifia group “Smash Racism DC” showed up outside the Washington D.C. home of Tucker Carlson on Wednesday evening screaming threats to Carlson and his family.  The mob chanted, “Tucker Carlson, we will fight. We know where you sleep at night.”

The video was posted to Twitter showing the mob hurling insults and threats of violence against Carlson and has since been removed.

This left-wing group, who also confronted Senator Ted Cruz in a Restaurant while having dinner with his wife, rang the doorbell of Carlson’s home, banged on the door screaming, “each night you remind us that we are not safe. Tonight, we remind you that you are not safe either.”  Carlson was not home at the time as he was preparing his monologue to go on air at Fox News.  However, his wife was home and was terrified, thinking that it was a home invasion. She locked herself in the pantry and called the police and her brother – who lives close by – for help.

In a phone call with Fox News, Carlson explained that the mob rang his doorbell repeatedly, broke his solid oak door, and a person was even caught on video talking about a pipe bomb. The group of people eventually scattered and police have not yet confirmed if any arrests were made. Carlson further explained, “here’s the problem, I have four children,” he said by phone. “I never thought twice about leaving them home alone, but this is the reaction because this group doesn’t like my TV show.”

The left-wing Antifa group also posted the address of Carlson’s home in a post on Twitter which also has been removed.

The CEO of Fox News, Suzanne Scott, and President Jay Wallace released a statement which said;

“The incident that took place at Tucker’s home last night was reprehensible. The violent threats and intimidation tactics toward him and his family are completely unacceptable. We as a nation have become far too intolerant of different points of view. Recent events across our country clearly highlight the need for a more civil, respectful, and inclusive national conversation. Those of us in the media and in politics bear a special obligation to all Americans, to find common ground.”

Fox News commentator, Britt Hume, took to Twitter to denounce these aggressive and threatening actions.
