The city of Petah Tikva in Israel will name its town square after President Donald Trump on July 4, according to The Times of Israel. The central Israel city’s Mayor Rami Greenberg told Maariv daily that his purpose is to honor President Trump for ‘his unqualified support for the State of Israel.
Moreover, Greenberg will invite United States Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, among other public officials to the ceremony, the Times of Israel reported.
Trump will apparently have a number of spots in Israel named after him. Netanyahu said last month that he would name a new community in the Golan Heights after Trump. Last week, the Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz said a train stop in the Old City of Jerusalem would be named for Trump too.
