Israel hit 100 Hamas terror targets Thursday after the terrorist group fired rockets in the direction of Tel Aviv, at citizens in central and Southern Israel. At first, the sirens sounded off in Tel Aviv as two rockets were launched from Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Later, Hamas targeted several cities in Southern Israel. This was the first time in two years that rockets flew over the populated city of Tel Aviv.



The IDF’s Response

Immediately, the Israel Defense Forces responded by striking 100 Hamas terror targets in Gaza. Several of the Hamas rockets were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome Missile Interception technology.

Ceasefire Declared

For now, Hamas and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire brokered by Egypt. According to Palestinian media, the scheduled weekly protests along the border have been postponed. Hours before the rocket attack, a terrorist attempted to breach the border wielding an IED and a knife. IDF soldiers thwarted the attack. U.S. Response


U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo reacted to the attack on Israel Friday. On twitter Pompeo said, “Once again, Israeli citizens are under attack from terrorists in Gaza armed and financed by their puppet asters in Tehran. We stand by our ally. Israel has the right to protect its citizens.”
