IDF tours Gaza’s Shifa Hospital, shows Hamas weapons and unearths their lies
The Israel Defense Forces have released a lengthy six minute video giving a tour inside Gaza’s Shifa Hospital after they neutralized Hamas’ takeover of the facility. The video also serves as documentation of the terrorist group’s violation of war. As U.S. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said, Hamas’ behavior “is a violation of the law of war to headquarter yourself in a hospital.”
According to international humanitarian law (IHL), health establishments and units, including hospitals, should not be attacked, nor used as shelter. “We are going to do a one shot video. One shot, no editing” said Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus before he gave a tour showing the weapons and uniforms left weapons.
Cornicus shows a medical supply closet that demonstrates despite the Hamas-run Health Ministry of Gaza, there was substantial amounts of medical supplies available in the hospital. “But that is a conversation for another day” he says.
Cornicus then shows that all security cameras were broken or covered in black tape to cover-up the reality of what has been happening inside the hospital. The insinuation is that the video footage could unearth the extensive lies that have come from Hamas. Cornicus then opened another closet that was full of weapons; he explains they were found in the main part of the clinic.

Israeli Media Reports on Tentative Acceptance of U.S.-Brokered Ceasefire with Hezbollah
Israeli media reported Sunday that Jerusalem has provisionally agreed to a U.S.-brokered ceasefire proposal with Hezbollah, the Islamic Republic-backed militia in Lebanon. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the framework after consultations with senior cabinet members and defense officials, according to Haaretz, Kan, and Ynet.
Foreign Desk News reports that the proposed ceasefire involves a three-phase process. First, Hezbollah operatives would relocate north of the Litani River. Next, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) would withdraw to within Israel’s borders. Finally, mediation would begin between Israel and Lebanon to address unresolved territorial disputes.
Key to Israel’s agreement is a U.S. assurance letter permitting military action in the demilitarized zone if Hezbollah attempts to rearm and the Lebanese armed forces fail to intervene. A U.S.-led international oversight committee will enforce the terms of the agreement.
While Netanyahu expressed some concerns, sources indicate he accepted the core elements of the deal. Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, is expected to arrive in Tel Aviv on Monday to finalize the details.
The agreement marks a significant diplomatic effort to de-escalate tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, amid ongoing regional instability.
