Like it or not, the Trump administration has had a successful start in efforts to make America safe again. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have been nabbing criminal illegal immigrants in cities across the country in their mission to protect men, women, and children from the dangerous and violent criminals who have been freely roaming around America over the last four years.
ICE has apprehended 538 criminal illegal aliens so far including pedophiles, gang members, and even a suspected terrorist in New York, the New York Post reports:
“ICE New York apprehended Gokhan Adriguzel, a 30-year-old Turkish national who is a ‘known or suspected terrorist,’ according to a release from the agency. Big Apple-centric ICE agents also took into custody a known MS-13 gangbanger.”
ICE agents also apprehended, “Pedro Julio Meja, a citizen of the Dominican Republic, was previously convicted of sexual conduct against a child, according to the agency.”
Still, somehow there are Americans angry that the Trump administration dares to protect men, women, and children by removing the people who are threatening their safety in “heinous” ways.
An effort to beg for sympathy for illegal immigrants has flooded networks and social media with images of them full of tears for being told they must enter the country legally like the rest of the legal immigrants. It is worth noting that while they share the tears of illegal immigrants, these same outlets have left out the tears of Americans who have tragically lost loved ones to brutal murderous criminal illegal immigrants and whose lives have been ruined because criminal illegals were given refuge in their communities.
Unlike the Biden administration, however, the Trump administration is not allowing America to be a refuge for criminals, especially those who entered the country illegally.
On Day 1, President Trump designated the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua as a foreign terrorist organization. According to Fox News, “The order – which is titled ‘Designating Cartels And Other Organizations As Foreign Terrorist Organizations And Specially Designated Global Terrorists’ – instructs newly confirmed Secretary of State Marco Rubio to move to designate Tren de Aragua, as well as Salvadoran gang MS-13 and other migrant gangs as ‘foreign terrorist organizations.’”
According to Fox News, Joseph Humire, executive director of the Center for a Secure Free Society, said that “by showing this strength,” Trump has taken “the first action of deterrence.”
Andrew Arthur, a law and policy expert at the Center for Immigration Studies, added that designating Tren de Aragua a terrorist organization allows the United States government to take out their financial lifeline.
“Money is the lifeblood of these organizations,” Arthur said. “It’s really the funding element of all this that is crucial to going after a terrorist organization, because if you cut them off from the money, they’re not going to be able to pay people.”
“It’s not just the guy with the AK-47 or the guy with the IED that’s a terrorist. It’s all those people that helped to make that possible,” Arthur continued. “So, when you designate them as terrorist organizations, in addition to going after the keepers or the kingpins of these organizations and the various foot soldiers that they employ, you can also go after the individuals who provide material support.”
According to The Post, ICE agents also effected removal orders in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, Washington, and even in Puerto Rico.
Now that ICE is functioning again, the feeling that safety has returned to America is overwhelming. One person even yelled out “thank you” to ICE agents as they arrested a criminal illegal immigrant in Boston.
