House Judiciary Committee Authorizes Nadler to Subpoena DOJ For Full Mueller Report
The House Judiciary Committee authorized its chairman, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) to use a subpoena to force the Justice Department to give Congress a full copy of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report and all related supporting documentation.
The vote was 24-17, with all Democrats supporting and all Republicans opposed.
The committee also approved subpoenas for a number of former White House aides who Democrats said were relevant to an investigation into possible obstruction of justice, abuse of power and corruption.
