Oprah Winfrey couldn’t suppress her shock when presidential candidate Kamala Harris defended the fact that she owns guns by stating anyone who breaks into her house will get shot.
During a so-called town hall, Oprah did her very best to help Harris come across as an excellent candidate. Even Oprah couldn’t save Harris from herself.
The discussion began after Oprah delicately and coyly stated “I did not know” that Harris was a gun owner until she had mentioned it at the debate.
The audience laughed at the statement which, would have been more of an excoriation if Oprah were interview a Republican. Despite the hypocrisy, the audience laughs off the comments.
“If somebody breaks into my house they’re getting shot” Harris states in an upbeat manner, to which the audience chuckles again and Oprah simply says “yes, yes, I hear that.”
“I probably shouldn’t have said that” Harris chuckles. “My staff will deal with that later” she added. The back and forth was very whimsical for the topic of the Second Amendment and gun ownership, which both Oprah and Harris have publicly been incredibly against. Just another example of how rich and powerful liberals want different rules for themselves.
