Sara Carter joined Goya CEO Bob Unanue on ‘”Fox and Friends” to discuss the ‘Goya Cares’ initiative, which is teaming up with Border Czar Tom Homan and has the full support of the Trump administration behind it. The initiative aims to locate and free over 325,000 missing illegal migrant children as part of human trafficking awareness month.
Unanue explained that President Trump has always been supportive of raising awareness to combat trafficking. The Biden administration, however, actively brought the horrifying problem into our boarders, as the number of missing migrant children increased “from 85,000 to 340,000” children said Unanue. The children have “been sold, purchased and handed off.” Many live in poor conditions such as “40 children at one address” which “is not a home; it’s a business” he added.
Many of the children are not ending up in the school system or getting resources available to them. Sara Carter stated the undertaking is going to take a “huge cooperation with federal, local and state law enforcement officials.” There is “no way to stop this crisis alone.” Part of the program will include outreach to help let the found children know where to go to be safe.
Once they are found, “we have to find their actual guardians and parents, and take care of their mental health” adds Carter. We know children have been trying to contact relatives. “Tom Homan is leading the effort with Trump to help these children find their way back to safety” Carter said, adding that “we cannot allow this to continue to happen and those that are allowing this to happen must be punished to the full extent of the law.”
