President Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, said that Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into the Trump campaign is, “going to blow up on them.”
On Wednesday night, the former New York City mayor joined Fox News’ Sean Hannity to discuss the latest updates in the case. He told Hannity, “The reality is, the real story is not that this case isn’t going to fizzle. It’s going to blow up on them.”

Giuliani claimed that there was “a lot more they [the Mueller team] did that nobody knows about,” relating to obstruction of justice with the anti-Trump dossier, and the FBI’s use of former British spy (and dossier author) Christopher Steele as a source even after he was fired from the bureau.
“I wonder where is the sense of justice? On the part of Mueller, on the part of the Justice Department…at some point you have to say the irregularities the unethical conduct, the double standard, the way in which people who hate Trump were put into primary positions of power…has completely tainted this investigation,” he said.
When asked about Mueller’s interview request for President Trump, Giuliani said, “If it isn’t over by September then we have a very very serious violation of the Justice Department rules.”
The president’s attorney was adamant in his belief that Mueller is trying to trap Trump into perjury charges because he says, “he doesn’t have a case.”
