First human case of H10N3 bird flu reported in China
Chinese health officials confirmed that a 41-year-old man was the first human case of H10N3 strain of the bird flu Tuesday. By the time of the reporting, he is already reportedly being prepped for hospital release.
The man allegedly became ill April 28th. He wasn’t diagnosed until May 28th. No one else, not even his close contacts, have been infected, according to reports. The National Health Commission says that is good news.
”The risk of large-scale transmission is low,” the commission said.
