FBI Arrests Jeffrey Epstein’s Alleged Sex Trafficking Recruiter Ghislaine Maxwell

FBI agents arrested notorious Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is alleged to have played a key role in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, according to NBC news, citing senior law enforcement sources. Maxwell was arrested on Thursday in New Hampshire and is expected to show in court later today, according to the report.
Maxwell, once Epstein’s girlfriend, is alleged to have groomed dozens of teenage girls for Epstein’s sexual abuse. A number of those women have sued Epstein and allege that Maxwell played a key role in his illicit operation.
Epstein was arrested nearly one year ago, but died what was initially reported as by suicide in a New York prison, according to investigators. However, the lack of video footage in one of the country’s most secure prisons and an autopsy showing injuries more common in strangulation murders have had some questioning.
The Department of Justice is still investigating the convicted sex offender’s cause of death.
