Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan reacted to the recent controversy surrounding the Women’s March leader Tamika Mallory. Addressing a crowd at a Nation of Islam conference Sunday, Farrakhan said, “The wicked Jews want to use me to break up the women’s movement”.
Farrakhan has expressed his antisemitism on multiple occasions recently calling the Jewish people “termites”. Additionally, Linda Sarsour, Mallory’s coworker, has praised Farrakhan. Sarsour is a Palestinian American who hasn’t been shy about her disdain for the Jewish State of Israel.
I'm not an anti-Semite. I’m anti-Termite. pic.twitter.com/L5dPQcnVg4

Ahead of the 2019 Women’s March, a number of Jewish organizations and the DNC pulled their support. The general turnout was underwhelming. Sarsour and Mallory failed to condemn Farrakhan’s blatant anti-Semitism, but have insisted that the women’s march represents all women.
