The House passed a resolution condemning “all forms of hate” late Thursday, but the vote comes during a contentious time for democrats who failed to stand up to Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Omar was criticized for multiple antisemitic statements on twitter and found herself facing backlash. But with the support of progressives in her party and like-minded organizations, like CAIR, she appeared to gain enough strength to take on Democratic leadership and flipped from being accused antisemitic to victim among supporters.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-MI, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, D-NY, have jumped to Omar’s defense. Even more concerning was House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC), who said Omar’s experience as a refugee is more powerful than that of holocaust survivors.

We cannot be afraid, we cannot cower down, and we have to talk for Muslim women who do not support this type of radicalism, Sara Carter

Sara Carter joined the discussion with Asra Nomani, a prominent Muslim reformer and journalist, on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” Thursday night. Carter called it “beyond disturbing”.

Carter has extensive knowledge of the Middle East from her travels to her childhood, which she spent the majority of living in Saudi Arabia.

“We cannot be afraid, we cannot cower down, and we have to talk for Muslim women who do not support this type of radicalism.” said Carter.

Muslim Supremacy

Linda Sarsour has hijacked the message. Sarsour calls herself a feminist, when in reality, she is taking away the voices of so many American Muslim women. Nomani pointed to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) as another key player in the supremacy game.

Carter told Ingraham that this is a very dangerous time.

Nomani spoke of her earlier encounter with Sarsour to Ingraham. Nomani said Sarsour and her team, including CAIR representatives, acted like they owned Congress. Further, Sarsour instructed her team to block the entrance to keep Nomani from entering Tlaib’s office.

“Lobbyists from the Muslim organizations became the gatekeepers in Congress” said Nomani.
