Conservative author and commentator Candace Owens has won a legal battle against PolitiFact after the left-leaning fact-checking website labeled a video she posted as “false” and caused it to be censored on Facebook.

Owens posted a video on Nov. 12 about the 2020 presidential election and captioned it, “Joe Biden is literally and legally not the President-elect. So why is the media pretending he is?”

The video was immediately labeled as “false” and every person who shared the video received a Facebook alert that they had shared “false” content, according to Owens.

“Weeks ago, @Facebook censored a post of mine which truthfully stated that @JoeBiden is NOT the President-elect. So I got lawyers involved. Conclusion? @PolitiFact uncensored the post & admitted that they LIED by rating my post false. The fact-checkers are lying for Democrats,” Owens wrote on Twitter.

PolitiFact removed their “false” rating, retracted an article about why Owens’ video was allegedly false and offered an added correction admitting their mistake.

PolitiFact said in a statement, “Correction: PolitiFact originally labeled this video false in our capacity as a third-party fact-checker for Facebook. On Nov. 20, an appeal to that decision was made on behalf of Ms. Owens. PolitiFact approved the appeal on Nov. 20, determined that a correction was appropriate, and removed the false rating.”

Owens is currently suing fact-checkers from USAToday and Lead Stories, for similar reasons. According to Owens, the fact-checking has led to her Facebook page being demonetized.

“It is time to fact-check the fact-checkers,” Owens said. “I’m going to put these suckers through discovery and figure out what the relationship is that they have with Facebook.”

Owens launched a website, called FactCheckZuck.com, to help raise funds for her legal battle.

“Our freedoms are being stripped away. The overlords of Big Tech are determining what Americans can and cannot say, share, like, and post. Support our legal efforts today as we fight back against Facebook’s fact-checkers, confronting those who are suppressing free speech, thought, and expression across our great country,” her website reads.

Sara Carter joined Sean Hannity from the picket line after President Joe Biden’s “brief” few minutes of support with the United Auto Workers strike in Michigan. Biden spent a “whopping 12 minutes with those UAW workers outside the plant today” said Carter.

“And I can tell you the time I spent with hundreds of workers walking up and down that line it was stunning to see how they had turned on the administration none of them actually bought the visit they thought it was more political than it was supportive” she added about her discussions with workers on the ground.

“It’s all about votes, trying to get votes” said one worker. “It’s a show” said another. Individuals also lamented “they didn’t forget about us During the pandemic. We were building cars and trucks, we were working” only to be left behind now.

Carter said it was evident that immediately after the brief show of “support” Biden immediately left, and got straight on his plane to head to Silicon Valley for a fundraiser.
