Trump Organization Executive Vice President Donald Trump Jr. joined ABC’s “The View” Thursday to promote his new book “Triggered,” instead he spent the majority of the interview defending his family, against what he described as ‘triggered’ hosts.

He told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday night that the interview was hijacked by hosts who sought to criticize his father President Donald Trump.

“You’d think if you were there to promote a book, they’d ask you one question about the actual book, Sean, but they didn’t do that,” Trump Jr. said.

“I guess it’s a little bit about why I wrote “Triggered.” I think the title speaks for itself because they were obviously triggered. I don’t think they like me much anymore.”

Instead of asking about the book, “The View” hosts ripped into Trump Jr. for defending his father’s claims that there was no quid-pro-quo between the U.S. and Ukraine.

In the interview, Trump Jr. pointed to U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland’s testimony, which was spun by the mainstream media to prove that there was quid-pro-quo. However, in his revised statement, Amb. Sondland said it was his “presumption” that the President asked Ukraine to look into corruption rather than targeting an opponent for political gains.

Further, “The View” hosts accused Trump Jr. of “outing” the whistleblower who came forward to expose the President’s alleged quid-pro-quo. Trump Jr. defended that the name was already public after several news sites posted it.

“They’re not outraged that he was outed, they’re outraged that now that his name is out there, they’re able to realize that this is a guy that’s tied to Brennan, this is a guy that’s tied to Susan Rice, this is a guy that worked for Biden with the Ukraine nonsense, and this is a guy whose lawyer has been tweeting since January of 2017 ‘the coup has started, impeachment is next, we’re gonna get Trump out of there,'” Trump Jr. told Hannity.
