Donald Trump Jr.: ‘No Longer Your Grandfather’s Democrat Party Anymore’

House Democrats will vote Thursday on a resolution to decide whether to continue the impeachment process led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff. House Republicans say the process has been extremely partisan as Democrats continue questioning witnesses behind closed-doors in a SCIF and promoting hearsay as a whistleblower account.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity Wednesday, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization Donald Trump Jr. and son of President Donald Trump, pointed to a shift in both politics and the media that came with his father’s campaign and later, his election.

“This is no longer your grandfather’s Democrat party anymore.” said Trump Jr. “These are extremists, but the reasonable people in the middle, they get it. They want to see this president be able to do his job. They want to see congress enact actual legislation to benefit the American people.”

Further, Trump Jr. denounced the Democrats for digging in their heels to prevent the President’s agenda from progressing citing the U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement that “has been on Speaker Pelosi’s desk for nine months.’

“She doesn’t want to do that because she doesn’t want to give Trump even a little bit of credit for getting things done and this president is getting things done for the American people,” Trump Jr. said.
