DHS Secretary Mayorkas Says We Cannot Remove ‘11 Million Undocumented Individuals’ Unlawfully in U.S.

Troubling details were unearthed during the questioning of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas by the Senate Judiciary Committee ranking member Chuck Grassley (R-IA). Grassley asked Mayorkas about a DHS memo from September 30 which reads: “The fact an individual is a removable noncitizen will not alone be the basis of an enforcement action against them.”

“Does that reasoning apply to the [1.2] million illegal immigrants who have received due process and been given a final order of removal by an immigration judge?” Grassley asked Mayorkas.

“We cannot remove 1.2 million individuals, nor can we remove more than 11 million undocumented individuals, individuals who are unlawfully present in the United States, who might not have final orders of removal” Mayorkas answered.

Mayorkas also stated that he had issued the due process policy after drawing on “tremendous experience not only as a member of the Department of Homeland Security but as a federal prosecutor.”

Grassley pressed Mayorkas, asking, “should any of them be removed?”

“Of course,” Mayorkas said. “I do believe that individuals who pose a public safety threat, who pose a national security threat, who pose a border security threat, should be removed, and we should be smart and effective in our use of resources, and we should focus on the well-being of our communities and prioritize individuals for removal.”

In his opening statements, Grassley addressed Mayorkas and stated, “When you allow the ACLU and open-borders immigration activists rather than career law enforcement professionals to dictate the terms of your immigration and border policies, then you shouldn’t be surprised when record-shattering numbers of people start showing up at the border to take advantage of that.”

Grassley continued, “When you run DHS like it’s an ‘Abolish ICE’ fan club, you shouldn’t be surprised when you have an illegal immigration crisis on your hands.”

Nobody needs to deport anybody; they will deport themselves from our country, if we arrest fine and IMPRISON any employers who hire an illegal, or anyone who provides housing for an illegal. Incorporate just those two items into law–and enforce the law!–and they will all be gone within a week, leaving on their own because they don’t have access to the American Dream, and because government handouts are no longer given to them anymore. With no incentive to come here, we won’t even have to guard the border except against drug and human trafficking.

Sure we can. You just have to want to. This is how they changed this Country. We went from a “can do” attitude to a victim “I cant do it” attitude. BTW there are far more than 11 million. They just keep lying and the people sit around like lumps complaining and yet electing the same people/parties over and over.

The communist democrat party hate America. Their weapon of choice to destroy America is mass immigration.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. How do you deport 11 million people. One at a time. You have to start somewhere. But you really don’t want to deport anyone because this is your new base.

We can deport 11 million or 20 million illegals. Increase the size of ice stop businesses from hiring illegals. Authorize a civilian authority to question suspected illegals and hold if needed till ice can take them.

Is the Mexican President blackmailing the U.S.? $20 billion or ‘flow of migrants will continue’

Mexican President Lopez Obrador

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador doubled down on his attempt to blackmail the United States into paying billions of dollars, or else the “flow of migrants will continue.” A report at Fox News reveals that Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador earlier “demanded a series of actions by the United States in order for him to try to cut off some of the millions of illegal aliens coming from Mexico into the United States across its southern border.”

Then just days ago, he said in an appearance on 60 Minutes that if the U.S. fails to meet his demands, “The flow of migrants will continue.” The report said Obrador, in recent weeks, has demanded that the U.S. give $20 billion a year to Latin American nations, lift sanctions on Venezuela, end the Cuban embargo and give legal status in America to the millions of Mexicans who already have entered illegally.

“Mexico has reportedly taken some state-level action to curb mass migration at President Biden’s request, making crossings drop, however, the number of migrants began to rise again in February, with Border Patrol expecting another surge in the spring,” the report said.

WND reports that the Interviewer Sharyn Alfonsi asked, “Everybody thinks you have the power in this moment to slow down migration. Do you plan to?”

He responded that the “root causes” must be addressed.

“Your critics have said what you’re doing, what you’re asking for to help secure the border, is diplomatic blackmail. What do you say?” Alfonsi asked. He later seemed to contradict himself, confirming that even if those things don’t happen, he will continue to try to help secure the border because the relationship between the nations is important.
