Democrats Use Journalist’s Death and Funeral To Spread Palestinian Disinformation

On the issue of the recently killed Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, the Democrats once again find themselves parroting Palestinian propaganda. In fact, several progressive Democrat members of the House, including Reps. Jamaal Bowman (NY), Cori Bush (MO), Betty McCollum (MN), Marie Newman (IL), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), Ilhan Omar (MN), and Rashida Tlaib (MI) have used the Akleh matter to introduce a resolution calling Israel’s rebirth in 1949 a  “catastrophe,” or as the Palestinian nationalists say, a “nakba.” But the truth of what happened at both the journalist’s death, and her subsequent funeral procession is much more complicated.

Ms. Akleh was killed when covering a Palestinian-initiated firefight between Palestinian terrorists and the IDF in Jenin on May 11. The Palestinian Authority (PA) accuses Israel of deliberately targeting the journalist, while an independent Dutch-based group Bellingcat claims the evidence points to the bullet coming from Israel. Israel is open to the possibilitythat one of its soldiers could have shot the journalist in the line of fire, but the PA continues to refuse to cooperate in a joint investigation with Israel, nor produce the bullet that killed the journalist. Regarding her death, the Palestinian chief pathologist could not state definitively which side he believed killed the journalist.

But Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI) has made up her mind, and accuses Israel of murdering Akleh. Other Democrats, like Reps. Bush (MO), Andre Carson (IN), Newman (IL), Ocasio-Cortez (NY), and Omar (MN) were quick to blame Israel, and 57 House Democrats have requested an FBI investigation into Akleh’s death. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a recent call to d PA president Mahmoud Abbas “underscored the importance of concluding the investigations” into the death of the journalist, and earlier had called the family of the killed journalist, expressing “deep condolences.” Both these representatives and Blinken are laundering Palestinian propaganda into the American mainstream. Palestinian presscalls Israel’s shooting of the journalist an “assassination,” that Israel has a “shoot-to-kill policy” towards journalists, that the shooting of the journalist amounts to an Israeli execution, and that Israel acted “intentionally and deliberately.”

With regard to the funeral procession, media clips of Israeli police beating what appear to be Akleh’s pallbearers are ubiquitous. So case closed, right? Hardly. An interim report by Israel reportedly suggests that Israel could have avoided using force. But this tells only a fraction of the story. First, Israeli authorities and the Akleh family had coordinated funeral arrangements. But these arrangements quickly evaporated when, against the family’s wishes, over 300 Palestinian rioters stole the coffin from the hospital. These mobsters absconded with the coffin on foot towards the cemetery, rather than the coffin being loaded into a hearse as the family wanted. And at the procession, Palestinians were throwing rocks from near the coffin at Israeli police. So Palestinian terrorists were using the coffin as a form of a human shield. And those attending the funeral were chanting “How sweet it is to kill Jews,” and other inciting rhetoric.

Where were Tlaib and Omar’s condemnations for this? It is the Israeli police, not Palestinian rioters, who are engaging in “violent racism,” according to Tlaib. Omar piled on as well, posting a video of the Israeli police beating the so called pallbearers as “just cruel.” The State Department released a press statement stating it was “deeply troubled to see the images of Israeli police intruding into her funeral procession today. Every family deserves to be able to lay their loved ones to rest in a dignified and unimpeded manner.”

The Democrats are enabling Palestinian propaganda, quickly accepting that Israel is responsible for the journalist’s death and that it acted unjustly at her funeral procession. But it is even worse is that Democrats like Reps. Cortez (NY), Omar (MN), Mark Pocan (WI), and Tlaib (MI) are using the Akleh case to call for an examination of the Israeli-US strategic partnership. Pre-judging and politicizing Israel’s actions are yet another example of the Democratic Party’s growing drift away from support of Israel.

And they stilll elect them. So they want to take over the US to make it the same type country they abandoned. That is because they could not have power in their country and now they do. Send them back to where they are happy before something happens in the US and no one wins.

Once again, you refer to them as the ‘Democratic’ party. They are NOT the ‘Democratic’ party, they are the ‘Democrat’ party.

As a person who believes in knowledge of the adversary, the enemy, and the antgonists in the fight, I relish reading what makes the enemy tick.
muslims refer to their Book of the Cult, written by a schizophrenic rapist, genocide partisan, slaver and tyrant to the extreme, just as confused as the DEMON RATS are today!
In that book, which stole a Book of the Torah and the Bible, only to throw more dust in the air to blind more people to the “absolutely despicable truth” the writer expressed, that said writer exhorts the “discipline” of rape of the wife in case she refuses to engage in sexual consort with her husband!
Great book! A BOOK OF PEACE! That book also arranges weddings with less than nubile girls for a “planned wedding”. The writer married his wife of 8 years old!
The book also states in the strongest language to TAX the Infidels who are not Jews or Christians. Those last two sorts need to be executed on sight, or enslaved in the worst of the conditions, and more punishments planned later on!
That is a BOOK of PEACE!

Iranian Americans and exiles increase pressure on Biden to end negotiations with Iran

As the world rallies around the women’s rights movement protesting the Islamic regime following the death of 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini, the pressure on Biden to cease nuclear negotiations intensifies.

“Iranian Americans have held rallies in Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and many other places in the U.S., chanting for the downfall of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, while calling on the international community to help” writes the Foreign Desk.

During a Sunday rally at the Los Angeles Federal building in Westwood, many young and old attendees spoke to the Foreign Desk and explained their reasons for being against a nuclear agreement while speaking on condition of anonymity:

While many Iranians have been vocal on social media and are attending solidarity protests, most are still fearful of retribution against their friends and family in Iran and requested that their actual names not be used in writing this piece.

Some Iranian Americans stated that negotiations with Iranian officials would “legitimize the regime and their actions.” Other rallygoers explained that by negotiating with Iran’s regime and removing the economic sanctions, the regime could “build a nuclear bomb against Israel and the U.S..” Instead, they argued that the President should “do more” to punish the Islamic regime and “target its leadership.”

Young Iranian immigrants at the rally argued that instead of removing economic sanctions as stipulated in the nuclear negotiations, the President should actually “put more economic sanctions on the regime,” and that by placing harsher sanctions on the regime, their friends, family members, and the whole country would suffer, but it would significantly “hurt the regime.”

When asked if they were confident that President Biden would stop negotiations with the regime, many believed that the administration would continue their talks, no matter how big the outcry.

The Foreign Desk  explains that the Iranian regime continues to crack down on protesters without relent. However, the State Department has again confirmed its intention to pursue a nuclear agreement with Iran’s regime.

“We are doing everything we can not only to support the human rights and the aspirations for greater freedom of the Iranian people, but also to hold accountable those within the Iranian system that are responsible for violence against the Iranian people,” said U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price. “When it comes to Iran, though, there would be no greater challenge to the U.S., to our partners, and to the broader international system than an Iran with a nuclear weapon,” said Price.

Price acknowledged that while a deal is not guaranteed to come together, he stated that America has been “sincere and steadfast” in negotiating a potential return to the nuclear agreement but reiterated that the U.S. is “not willing to bend.”

Many experts are comparing the President’s decision to negotiate with the regime amid the crackdowns to President Obama’s actions during the 2009 Green Revolution, where Iranian citizens took to the streets to protest the rigged presidential election results.

Iranian leaders like exiled Prince Reza Pahlavi stated that a nuclear agreement with Iran would be “worse” than the one signed in 2015.

“The Iranian regime has the capability, the technology, and the material to fabricate a bomb,” Pahlavi said. According to the Prince, the failure of the original Iran nuclear agreement would result in “the regime becoming even more radical.”

“Repeating the same mistake with hindsight is even worse than the first one,” he added.

Lawmakers in the House and Senate have called on the administration to cancel nuclear negotiations with Iran and enact a maximum pressure campaign against the regime just like the former Trump administration did. Members of Congress from both political sides have vowed that they will not vote to lift sanctions from Iran or officially finalize a nuclear agreement should one come through.
