Arizona Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema voted Wednesday to confirm two of President Trump’s judicial appointees. Sinema, along with two other Democrats, Sen. Joe Machin and Sen. Doug Jones, voted “yes” to confirm Kenneth D. Bell to be U.S. District Judge for the Western District of North Carolina and Carl J. Nichols to be U.S. District Judge for the District of Columbia.

Similarly, Sinema was one of three Democrats to vote to confirm Attorney General William Barr. Earlier this year, Sinema told 12 News her frustrations with her colleagues,
“In the last decade or so, members of both political parties have chosen to focus on the personal political opinions of nominees instead of focusing on what I believe is our duty which is to provide advice and consent to the president for his nominees.”
Further, Sinema said she concluded that after both speaking with Barr privately and listening to his testimony that he’s qualified to assume the role of Attorney General.
