During a heated testimony, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas expressed his support for amnesty and a path to citizenship for those who have entered the United States illegally.

Mayorkas tried to dodge at first, saying “only Congress can provide legal status or amnesty through the laws to those who enter the country illegally.” When prompted by Republican Congressman Andy Biggs of Arizona who said “we’re not talking about who passes laws or not, but your philosophy as the DHS Secretary, would you support amnesty?”

Mayorkas responded, “Congressman, I fully support and have for many years, legislative reform that once and for all fixes our broken immigration system…”

“So I take it that you won’t make that statement now…” said Biggs.

“No I will, if you’ll allow me” Mayorkas said, “and it involves a path to citizenship for those who have been in this country for many years, who have contributed to the wellbeing of our country.”

“The answer is you would support amnesty of some kind” Biggs said of his response.

ITS HIS JOB TO NOT LET THEM INTO THE COUNTRY, AND ABOVE IF THEY SLIPPED PAST, TO KNOW WHERE THEY ARE AND KEEP A WATCH ON THEM 24/7. ARREST IMMEDIATELY AND PUT HIM IN THE SAME OR NEXT CELL TO THEM

Another Biden supporters who has no interest in border security or a safe Homeland. He should be held accountable for any legal violation he’s involved in.

There it is. That was and is the reason that their is no southern border wall. Democrats destroy everything they touch. Widespread fraud in the 2020 election has been highlighted. So, they’ve brought in millions of illegal voters to stay in office. Demorats are not even trying to hide it! You, the citizen, are not as important as Demorats staying in office. It’s purpose? You must think back to Obama, Biden, and reverend Wright! You remember him, don’t you? His “God Damn America” Sermons helped shape Obama from his Muslim roots. Financed by reclusive billionaires, Obama is taking America down along with his sidekick Rice and the teleprompter!!!

These people will be a financial burden to the US their entire lives. Is there a migrant retirement fund for those who have never contributed into the system? I didn’t think so.

Michigan is asking its residents to help with the mess its leadership created and house migrants in their own homes. The state Department of Labor and Economic Development said volunteers who participate must commit for at least 90 days as part of the refugee support program.

In addition to opening up their homes, sponsors are expected to support newly arrived refugees by greeting them at the airport, securing and preparing initial housing, enrolling children in school and helping adults find employment.

“Programs like the Welcome Corps advance the Office of Global Michigan’s mission to make Michigan the home for opportunity for our immigrant, refugee and ethnic communities,” said Poppy Hernandez, Global Michigan Director and Michigan’s Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer. “Expanded refugee resettlement pathways empower more Michiganders to support our state’s growing refugee population and build a more welcoming and inclusive Michigan for all.”

The migrants will come from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela, all points of origin where many have been hoping to apply for asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Fox News reports “cities like New York and Chicago have also dealt with issues related to migrants committing crimes, as well as pushback from residents who have voiced anger and concern over the influx. Migrant shelters in those cities have largely been full, forcing officials to come up with ways to safely house the migrants.”

Last year, Massachusetts officials asked residents to open their doors as migrant shelters were full at the time. “Most importantly, if you have an extra room or suite in your home, please consider hosting a family. Housing and shelter is our most pressing need and become a sponsor family,” said Massachusetts Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll.
